Laura Mita is a full-time English Professor currently living in Florida, but she misses the colorful changing of leaves in the fall that she experienced when growing up in the Chicago suburbs. Her favorite types of fiction include fantasy and sci-fi, and even though she should be “grown up,” she loves YA fiction. Every year, she spends time relistening to the Harry Potter and I Am Number Four series. But, her passion for literature is not just in the written word. She loves watching tv and teaches a class about television as literature. Some of her favorite shows include Psych, Doctor Who, Chuck, Grimm, LOST (even the ending), Warehouse 13, and Fringe. Really, her favorite books and tv shows include too many to list.
Outside of reading and watching television, she enjoys traveling with her husband and their two children whenever possible.
