Release Day: Home Shattered

A war king with something to prove threatens the peace Jab and Sanu fought for.

Jab doesn’t recognize his twin Sanu anymore. Though they embarked on a mission to deliver a message of peace, he feels more alone than ever. When their offer of peace is rejected and the two are sent home with the battle-starved King Ridgerd’s army, a terrible storm attacks the ship, flinging Jab overboard.

Sanu, desperate to reunite with Jab, convinces Ridgerd to make landfall on Coppergrass Isle, where an unsettling upheaval has taken place. Sanu searches for his brother while the king tests his mettle against the local rulers. Sanu believes helping the king aid the locals is his best way to find Jab.

A foul baroness and an old enemy seek to rip Ridgerd’s army from him, not caring who they hurt in the process. The twins must help one enemy defeat another, unable to bear the thought of any more HOMES SHATTERED.

Release Day: Brothers Divided

We are excited to announce the release of Brothers Divided by PC Nottingham, the first book in the Gnaverworld: Grove Guardians series!

Invaders’ flags fly over the holy city, casting twin brothers Sanu and Jab in their shadow.

They want to win freedom for their countryrodents, but as orphaned twelve-year-old squirrels, they feel more helpless than ever.

Sanu vows to train with their dad’s scimitar to fight the occupying enemy. He hears rumors that a great liberator has an army coming to save them. Sanu plans to join them, and his wimpy brother won’t get in his way.

Jab is left with their mother’s prayer rock and holy books. He can’t believe his reckless twin wants to charge into the fray and get himself killed. If everyone could sit down and talk out their differences, the invaders would surrender the holy city and go home.

War stretches its dark paws over Sanu and Jab’s hometown, and, caught in crossfire, they watch each other fall in battle. Both twins believe the other has died, and each is saved by soldiers from opposite camps. Joining those he once called enemy, Sanu works toward peace in Jab’s memory. Enraged by the loss of Sanu, Jab trains with a crossbow to avenge his brother and enact justice on the colonizers.

Blodtorstig will stop at nothing until Kinoumi falls under his iron paws. Major cities lie in unrest, easy targets for the approaching invader. Rumors abound that some nobles will pledge themselves to him in exchange for wealth and protection. If Risu can’t convince the faithful to turn on their lords and prepare for the upcoming fight, the starvation and ruin that has plagued the other islands will devour Kinoumi.
