Jody Lebel

Jody Lebel spent twenty years working in court as a criminal court reporter, where she dealt with murderers, rapists, and thieves, which is why she writes humorous stories set in the criminal world, as well as romances with a bit of a felonious twist. Her short romance and mystery stories have sold to Woman’s World magazine, Pages of Stories, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and dozens of others. Jody taught writing courses online through various national writing groups and serves as a judge for the yearly Daphne du Maurier writing contest. She also authored Write Better Right Now, a quick e-book guide for beginner writers.

With her acting experience in community theater, her segue into voice-over work was almost a given. As she is an author, she migrated toward audiobook work. With a professional home studio that features a dedicated whisper room with a noise floor well under -60dB, she delivers quality audio, fully edited and mastered, and ready for uploading.

Jody was raised in charming New England, was an only child who had an only child (claiming she didn’t breed well in
captivity), and now lives with her two cats in southern Florida. Visit her website at www.vojodylebel.com. If you have any questions, please reach out to her at ladyrprter@aol.com.
