We are excited to announce the release of Melody of Mayhem by PC Nottingham, the first book in the Aftershocks series!
Wars, like earthquakes, continue claiming lives long after they’re over.
Eya is stuck filling her missing mother’s shoes in a high-stakes government cybersecurity job, though she would rather be focused on her music. She is desperate to find her mom, though the rest of the galaxy has already given her up as dead. When terrorists target Eya and a supposedly dead leader resurfaces, the galaxy plunges into chaos.
Rondo is determined to resurrect the Earthquake organization and seize control of the galaxy. He has kidnapped the galaxy’s top programmer to force her into building technology that will shatter an already flimsy social order. To ensure her compliance, he uses the threat of Eya’s death as his ultimate leverage.
Eya must survive galaxy-wide riots and lethal traps on inhospitable worlds to stop Rondo before he erases years of social progress. This sci-fi thriller explores the cost of war and the chaos of a civilization on the brink of collapse.
