Lousiville Book Festival

The 2026 Louisville Book Festival will be held in downtown Louisville, KY on October 24th from 10 am to 5 pm at the Kentucky International Convention Center.  This year will continue to give us the opportunity to celebrate the city’s culture and resiliency, while striving towards the goal that all children have access to books in their home. Highway 65 is the divide between east and west Louisville. West of 65, there are no book stores which greatly reduces access to books for our children and youth, creating a book desert. Our goal for the Louisville Book Festival is to ensure every child that attends the Book Festival leaves with at least one free age appropriate book that they get to select themselves. To date we have given away more than 20,000 books directly to kids and schools. We will continue to work on the goal of getting books in to the hands of children year round through our programs like It Pays to Read.

Release Day: The Mannequin Queen

We are excited to announce the release of The Mannequin Queen by K.N. Fitzwater, the second book in The Silver Fox Series!

Don’t bury your past skin deep.

Aramis Feres thought the scars of his past would never tear open once he emerged from the Zemzem waters and lived his life as the Silver Fox. All that changed when a mechanical toy went hunting for test subject 479241. Those were numbers he never thought he would hear again—the same numbers tattooed on his arm.

After learning the message came from the derelict Silo 51, Aramis sets out into the desert with his friends. Through the haze, they search for answers buried beneath the wind-whipped sands. There, they find the Ancients’ accursed legacy: the Mannequin Queen.

Dare to read the next deadly excursion of the Silver Fox series, a LGBTQ+, dark fantasy adventure set in a far-flung future. Thou shalt not avert thine eyes to this sequel of the Doppelgänger Queen.

You can order this book  in all formats directly from us right here on our website, and if you use the code 4HP10 at checkout, you’ll receive 10% OFF!
